What is a Zero Day Vulnerability?

A Zero Day Vulnerability is a type of software weakness that has just been found, and there is no fix available for it. It's called "Zero Day" because it's like day zero when it's identified.

How do they get discovered?

These vulnerabilities are usually uncovered by individuals with malicious intent, often referred to as hackers. They are the first to discover and exploit these weaknesses. When a Zero Day Vulnerability is identified, it's documented and categorized as a CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures).
